Wooden Flooring

Wooden flooring brings the warm, natural look of wood underfoot. The planks lock together and are laid on a cushioning underlay — often right over your existing tiles — so a room can be changed without breaking the old floor. It suits bedrooms, living rooms, studies and offices.

Why Choose It

Why choose Wooden Flooring

Wooden flooring that brings the warmth of wood underfoot — often laid right over your existing tiles.

The warmth of wood

Natural wood shades and grains make a room feel warm and inviting.

Over your existing floor

Often laid on top of existing tiles, with far less dust and breaking than a new floor.

Shades to match

Light, medium and dark shades to go with your furniture, doors and blinds.

Comfortable underfoot

Feels warmer and softer to walk on than stone or tiles.

Good To Know

Before you choose

  • Wooden flooring is not suited to bathrooms or anywhere water collects on the floor.
  • Wipe up spills quickly and clean with a damp, not wet, mop — standing water can damage the planks.
  • Put felt pads under furniture legs to avoid scratches.
  • The floor underneath must be level and dry. We check it during the visit.

Often, yes. If the tiled floor is level, firm and dry, the planks can be laid on an underlay right over it. We check your floor during the visit.

We don't recommend it in bathrooms or anywhere water collects on the floor. In a kitchen it needs extra care — wipe up spills straight away.

Sweep or vacuum regularly and clean with a well-wrung, damp mop. Avoid soaking the floor or using harsh chemicals.
